These most recent awards follow on from success in previous years at other Merlin attractions, with The Sanctuary at Alton Towers having won Best Seasonal/ Halloween Attraction at the 2013 awards. Other Merlin Entertainments attractions also featured on the list of winners, with Alton Towers winning ‘Best Overnight Scare Attraction’ for their Scare Rooms, and Warwick Castle winning ‘Best Educationally Scary Attraction’ for the Castle Dungeon.
Now in its seventh year, the SCAR awards are held annually by ScareCON in association with ScareTOUR (a site dedicated to providing independent reviews of scare attractions all over the world). Held at a well-known attraction each year, the 2014 event was held at Tulleys Farm – home of Shocktober Fest – on June 19th– and brings together attraction designers, owners, fans and industry professionals.
We would like to congratulate all the winners of the 2014 awards.
